Long neck village
The “Long Neck” tribe, also known as the Paduang or Karen-Padaung people, is an ethnic group in Southeast Asia, particularly in Thailand and Myanmar (Burma). The women of this tribe are known for wearing brass rings around their necks, giving the appearance of an elongated neck. This practice has led to them being commonly referred to as the “Long Neck” tribe.
The village is set up as a cultural and tourist attraction, and visitors have the opportunity to learn about the Paduang people’s traditional way of life, including their unique neck ring tradition.
