CHILDREN’S POLICY

The facilities and services at Kamalaya are designed for adults who seek the time, place and expertise to improve their wellbeing. Kamalaya is not recommended for children and there are no child concessions available and no special facilities or services offered. However, Kamalaya intends to provide the possibility for parents who would like to do a wellness program and bring their child. Therefore the following policy applies, subject to availability: 1) For every room booked there must be one adult with a pre-booked wellness program for the duration of their stay. 2) Maximum 1 child sharing room with their parents is permitted. 3) Children below the age of 16 may not participate in any wellness activities or treatments and are not allowed into the wellness centre or its facilities; this includes the Fitness Centre and Lap pool. 4) Children are not allowed to use the Leisure swimming pool (located at Amrita Cafè) between midday and 4pm. 5) Children aged 8 to16 are required to book an ‘extra bed’ at an additional cost. 6) Children below the age of 8 can stay free of charge on the sofa bed of a Villa when sharing with their parents. 7) Children below the age of 6 may share a bed with parents free of charge and are entitled to 50% discount on all meal rates; children will be served half portions from the regular menus. Children aged 6 and over will pay full meal rates. 8) Baby cots for children below the age of 2 are free of charge (upon availability). 9) Children are only permitted to stay in the stand-alone Villa accommodation categories (including pool and beachfront villas).

NON ARRIVAL & EARLY CHECK-OUT POLICY

In the event of guest non-arrival or early check-out, Kamalaya Koh Samui will charge a fee equal to the full length of initial booking at contracted rates.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE PROCEDURE

Check in time is 14:00 hrs and check out time is 12:00 hrs (noon). Kamalaya Koh Samui will do its best to have room available for early arrival when notified. To guarantee the room to be available before 12:00 hrs Kamalaya will charge for the previous night. Late check out or day use is available at an extra charge of 50% of the contracted rate for each room category occupied until 18:00 hrs. A full night contract rate will apply for use of the room after 18:00 hrs.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Guest must notify Bangkok Trip Planner of cancellation or reduction in number of accommodations within the minimum period specified hereunder:

• Cancellation charges apply to both program and accommodation bookings
• Any cancellation within 7 days of arrival will be charged at 100% of the full booking irrespective of the season
• 1 Jun 2021 – 21 Dec 2021: 50% of full booking charged if cancelled within 30 days
• 22 Dec 2021 – 10 Jan 2022: 50% of full booking charged if cancelled within 60 days
• 11 Jan 2022 – 31 Mar 2022: 50% of full booking charged if cancelled within 30 days

We strongly advise that all guests take out adequate travel insurance in case of unavoidable emergencies that may result in the cancellation of their stay at Kamalaya.

PAYMENT

Bangkok Trip Planner requires FULL PRE PAYMENT at least 30 days prior to arrival from 1 June 2021 to 31 Mar 2022 excluding peak season; and 60 days for peak season from 22 December 2021 – 10 January 2022. Accommodations not guaranteed by full pre payment are not considered guaranteed bookings.
